Morrigan / Documentation
Getting started
From your account to your first investigation.
Before you begin
The initial beta targets Windows x64. You need internet access for account verification, downloads, activation, and your chosen AI provider. Provider usage is billed separately. Use a test device or emulator and research targets you are authorized to examine.
Create your account
- Register with your email and a unique password, and read the beta terms.
- Open the verification email and confirm your address. Your seven-day trial starts at that moment.
- Sign in, then get your trial key from your account. Save it in a password manager; it is displayed once.
Install and activate
- Download the current installer from your account. Compare its SHA-256 with the value on the downloads page.
- Run the installer and open Morrigan. If Windows blocks or warns about the file, stop and check the version, checksum, and signature with support.
- Enter the trial key on the activation screen while online.
- Configure your AI provider and API key in Settings. Choose a supported model with enough balance or quota for your task.
Start small
Open a workspace, select your authorized target, and give the agent a focused objective. Start with static inspection before asking for device changes. Review tool activity and generated artifacts. Beta findings need independent verification.
See device setup when your investigation needs runtime access.
